RSB M30 – Road Blocker

The RSB M30 by AUTOMATIC SYSTEMS is a high‑security, retractable road blocker designed to stop hostile vehicle impacts at perimeter entry points. It is certified to withstand a 7.5‑ton vehicle travelling at 48 km/h (or 3.5‑ton at 64 km/h), absorbing roughly 700,000–750,000 joules of impact energy, making it suitable for companies, hotels, convention centres, and other sensitive or critical‑infrastructure sites. The obstacle is about 500 mm high and can be ordered in widths from 2 to 6 m, with a relatively shallow 500 mm foundation that eases integration into existing road layouts.

The RSB M30 operates hydraulically, raising or lowering in about 5 seconds, with an optional enhanced‑speed or emergency‑fast‑rise mode to meet urgent access‑control demands. In the event of a power failure, the obstacle can be manually lowered at the hydraulic pump or via a remote pump, and visual signals such as LEDs or traffic lights can indicate its status. Designed to comply with standards such as PAS68, IWA14‑1, and ASTM M30, and built to EN 124 Class D loading, the RSB M30 is a robust, all‑weather solution for perimeter protection in commercial, hospitality, and institutional environments.
