Tourniket

Three or Four-wing Configuration Original Moderate Throughput Door Easy to fine-tune to the most inspirational designs Automatic or Manual Operation The Tourniket was the first revolving door we manufactured; created in 1903, the Tourniket was originally constructed mainly from timber and had to be operated manually. Since then its construction and the technology within have evolved into a sophisticated and intelligent revolving door. The automatic or manual revolving door the Tourniket is still at the basis of many of the special projects we are involved in as it is an incredibly versatile entry solution. Its engineering quality has been proven again and again in many different buildings and projects.
The Automatic or Manual Revolving Door The Tourniket is available in a variety of finish and colour options. In many buildings a powder coated or anodised aluminium version is chosen which can be finished in virtually any colour you can think of. The wood cladded Tourniket takes you back to the early history of the revolving door and gives a classic retro look while a stainless steel or mirror finished look can create a modern or even futuristic look. This door is a particular favourite of ours. DOOR REINFORCEMENT – PROTECTION PACKAGES. Peace of mind in the event of an attack from burglars or with fire arms. Camera’s do not stop an event from happening, neither do most security solutions. If you are serious about making your building safe, start by asking yourself this question: is your entrance secure? If your answer was “no”, or “not secure enough”, what level and type of protection do you require? Choose the right protection package and reinforce your door. Protection packages are for everyone who wants to protect their property. However, not everyone needs the same level of protection. That is why you can choose from a range of door reinforcement solutions. From vandal resistant packages for revolving doors in shopping malls to bulletproof solutions for high security portals in data centres. AIR CURTAINS – CLIMATE CONTROL. High-rise buildings were one of the first to use revolving doors. They experienced immense pressure caused by air rushing through the building. This pressure was severe enough to cause problems, even with opening the doors. Revolving doors were designed to relieve stack effect pressure and to control indoor temperatures. However, there are certain areas of a building which require extra help to prevent temperature changes. In terms of energy savings, the use of a revolving door in your entrance is the most effective entrance solution. Air curtains have been developed specifically for revolving doors to maintain this effect at the entrance. This gives you the opportunity to decrease energy consumption even more by reducing heat loss in the winter and stabilising air-conditioned areas in the summer.
