The BLASI – Active‑IR‑Sensor Beambox combines a dense array of independently addressable infrared spots within a low‑profile housing to create configurable detection patterns tailored to revolving‑door approach geometries. Designed for seamless integration with FlipFlow controllers and BLASI safety inputs, the Beambox can form narrow approach zones, broadened presence areas, or segmented detection fields to ignore adjacent traffic and reduce nuisance trips caused by reflections or nearby motion.

Engineered for professional door environments, the Beambox accepts 12–30VAC or 12–45VDC supply ranges and presents a dry relay (change‑over) output and diagnostic LEDs for alignment and status. Installers can select hold times, sensitivity/immunity modes, and predefined spot patterns on‑site to suit mounting height and approach direction; tilt and recessed/surface mounting options simplify mechanical installation in drum frames and lintels.

Rugged polycarbonate housing and compliant connector/wiring interfaces endure the vibration, dust and cleaning routines typical of commercial entrances, while low power draw and compact dimensions preserve control‑cabinet space. Field commissioning workflows are straightforward: position and tilt to shape the zone, select the required spot pattern and immunity level, wire the relay into the FlipFlow safety/monitoring input per BLASI wiring practices, and validate behavior under real pedestrian flow.
