The RB‑M50_1200 automatic high‑security bollard by Automatic Systems is a retractable antiterrorist bollard engineered to protect high‑risk sites from hostile vehicle threats. These active bollards rise from the ground to create a solid barrier and then lower to allow controlled vehicle access, combining strong perimeter security with flexible traffic management. The system is crash‑tested to stop a 7.5‑ton vehicle travelling at 80 km/h or a 3.5‑ton vehicle at 112 km/h, typically under standards such as PAS68 and IWA14, making it suitable for embassies, government buildings, and critical infrastructure.
